Commissions & Curiosities
A place for custom creations, wandering ideas, and the occasional treasure looking for a new home.
Commission a Piece
Every story begins somewhere.
Whether you're looking for a custom illustration, a tattoo design, a handcrafted wood burn, or a detailed charcoal piece, I'd love to hear about your idea. Each commission is created collaboratively, drawing inspiration from the stories, symbols, and meanings that matter most to you.
If you're interested in working together, fill out the form below for a free quote and let's begin the conversation.
Please be sure to read the Commission Policy Statement at the bottom of this page before fully committing to the process.

Curiosities from the Merchant's Cart
Not everything I create belongs in a gallery. Some things end up in the merchant's cart instead.
Some are old favorites. Some are experiments. Some are simply looking for a new home before the cart moves on.
Feel free to rummage around.

Commission Policy Statement
All commissioned artworks — including digital illustrations, tattoo designs, charcoal drawings, and wood burnings — are original works created by Lindsey Saoirse.
By commissioning work from me, you are purchasing the right to use the image, not its full copyright.
Please read all the information below so you fully understand how the process works.
Usage Rights
Each commissioned piece includes personal use rights. This means you may print, frame, share, and display the artwork privately or on personal social media pages (with credit appreciated but not required).
If you’d like to use the artwork for commercial purposes — such as product packaging, branding, resale, or advertising — a separate commercial license must be arranged with me and purchased before final delivery.
Artist Rights
I retain the copyright and creative ownership of all works I create. This allows me to display the artwork in my portfolio, on social media, and in promotional materials.
I never sell, share, or repurpose personalized commissions for other clients. Any future use would be purely for self-promotion or artistic development.
Pricing & Payment
All commission prices are based on the time, detail, and materials involved in each piece. Because every artwork is uniquely custom and made to order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission.
The remaining balance is due in full before the final artwork is delivered.
This approach protects both artist and client. The deposit reserves your place in my schedule and covers the time and effort I invest in planning and creating your piece, while the final payment ensures you receive a finished artwork that meets the agreed-upon vision. It helps maintain fairness and accountability on both sides, allowing me to give each project the attention it deserves.
Pricing Details
Every commission quote reflects the full creative process that goes into your artwork — not just the finished piece. Pricing includes:
-
Creative time for concept development, sketching, and final detailing
-
Materials and tools (such as wood panels, charcoal, sealants, or digital equipment/programs)
-
Digital rendering and preparation for high-quality printing or delivery
-
Packaging and shipping (for physical works)
-
Up to two complimentary revisions during the design process
After those two included revisions, each additional change incurs a $25 revision fee. This ensures that the creative process stays focused and balanced, giving both of us clarity and respect for the time and energy involved.
Licensing & Ownership Options
All commissions include personal-use rights by default. This means you can print, share, and display the work for non-commercial use.
If you’d like to use the artwork for Commercial Purposes (e.g., logos, merchandise, or promotions), a commercial-use license can be added for an additional 50–100% of the base commission price, depending on the scale: small business vs major brand.
For those who want Exclusive Ownership*** (full rights to the artwork, with removal from my portfolio and promotional materials), this option may be available for an additional 200% of the base commission price. This fee reflects the transfer of creative rights and the loss of future artistic or promotional use of the piece.
***As an artist, I rarely grant full ownership of my work, and I reserve the right to refuse this option. Retaining creative rights allows me to protect the integrity of my art, keep it as part of my professional portfolio, and continue building my body of work. Exclusive ownership is reserved for special cases only, where it truly makes sense for the client, artist, and the artwork. This option also must be discussed upfront.
